How We Record Your Choice

Your choice is stored on your own device, in your browser's local storage, under the name cookieConsent. We record which categories you allowed, the version of this policy you were shown, and the date you chose — we do not store it against your account or on our servers.

Because it lives on your device, clearing your browser storage clears your choice, and your choice does not follow you to another browser or device.

We ask again in two situations: when about twelve months have passed since you last chose, and whenever this policy changes in a way that alters what you were consenting to. Until you answer again, no non-essential cookie is set — an expired choice is treated as no consent rather than as continued consent.
